Announcing the results of round 1 of the Lotus Central Fantasy F1 competition.

Congratulations to John LaMaster who is our provisional winner. John seems to have a knack for this as he won a round last year and was also one of the five names pulled out of the hat last week to win a brace of tickets to an Elise Trophy round of his choice.

Example of how points were scored this week:-
• Hamilton – 20 pts – (3rd place – 15pts, finished race – 5pts)
• Button – 11 pts – (7th place – 6pts, finished race – 5pts)
• Red Bull – 26pts – (Vettel - 4th place = 12+5 = 17, Webber - 8th place = 4+5 = 9 = 26)
• Force India – 12pts – (Liuzzi - 9th place = 2+5 = 7, Sutil = 5pts = 12pts)
• Pole Position – Those with Vettel OR Red Bull got 5 pts
• Fastest Lap – Those with Alonso OR Ferrari got 5pts
• Best Improvement – Those with Kovalainen scored 6pts – 21st to 15th place
• Both Lotus drivers scored 5 points for their teams as both finished

Those who chose Bahrain as their Joker round scored double points.

As long as the results don't change, or we don't find a mistake by 9am 15 /3/2010 John will be the winner of round 1 and will receive his choice of a £25 gift voucher for either Lotus on Track or Elise-Shop.com
