I am selling this on behalf of a customer.

This car has been prepared with no expense spared and no second hand parts used.
Since its build it has been maintained regardless of cost and never had an accident or been in a gravel trap. EVERY area of this competitive, reliable car has been refreshed or renewed.

I competed in the car last weekend at Cadwell Park securing two pole positions, two race wins and a fastest lap. Before then the car has been a regular top ten car with no DNFs .

The car is only being sold due to Lotus Cup Europe commitments. I have invoices totaling over £42,000 for the build alone, let alone maintenance since then. If you want to compete in Elise trophy you will not find a better car. I did a 53.90 at Brands Indy in the car in February which is 0.5 faster than the current lap record.

The car is available for any inspection what so ever, it can at extra cost be provided for a track\test day or even a race weekend before you buy. I will be open to offers however due to the build cost there will not be a massive amount of movement.

It can run pretty much any engine you wish, mine was used to run my normally aspirated Honda K20A Engine in a Lotus Elise faultlessly, and the mapping was excellent. It included

			<description>Started as a very tidy 1999 Elise owned by my dad almost from new which has proven reliable and competitive since it first entered the Lotus Elise Trophy in 2007. Meticulously maintained at Hofmann’s Motorsport this car has finished almost half of all its race starts on the podium (21 podiums from 45 starts). 

In 2008 this car dominated Class B with 9 class wins and 1 outright win from 20 race starts earning me the “Driver of the Season” award. In 2009 the car was a significant feature of the Modified Class scoring 7 class podiums and 1 outright race win from 11 starts. Best results for 2010 so far have been qualifying 3rd at Castle Combe and a 4th place finish at Snetterton after running 2nd for most of the race. 

Producing 144bhp &amp; 124lb/ft (measured by TDI at the hubs) and weighing 725kg (minus driver/fuel), this car meets every current Elise Trophy regulation and is 100% ready to race! Full specification as follows:

			<description>Selling on behalf of a customer, this S1 has been very highly modified and meticulously prepared and maintained.

Currently residing at Force23 Motorsports workshop, viewing is highly recommended. 
This car would make an ideal Elise Trophy race car with a few modifications to put it within the regulations or a fast road, track, sprint car straight from the box. 
The engine has been recently built with no expense spared and is one of the most capable K series around. The car is in great condition with a few minor scratches and marks that should be expected of a 10 year car.

Based on a 1998 S1 in Purple, many modifications and parts uprated including:

MSA compliant 4 point roll cage
Manual battery cut outs
Lifeline 2000 plumbed in fire extinguisher
Nitron NTR one way dampers with Eibach springs and helpers
Uprated toe links
Uprated all aluminum radiator
Stainless braided brake hoses
TurboGroove brake discs and new CarboTec pads all round.
